Dualistic Articulation as announced from a commonly asounded point of awareness: Velatura di Spazio, topology, & the Tree of Life

You know.  for a while I really cared about how much my work sold for and how much of it was selling.  How it changed the story dynamic of what I was making was fairly minimal, but It wasn't because I egotistically demand my prices sit at a particular place in the market.  That is out of my control.  All I can do is float upon the archaic algorythm of squarefootage and

This body of work exists as a set of twins, one of which is the painted velaturas, fixated on reproducing what we believe we can see and infer from the heavenly bodies brought again into human focus at the same time that the thin veils of color developed during the Renaissance that became the utmost technology of storytelling of the day which led to questioning "gods" and the rise of humanism through the technology of binding oil to metallic and earthen pigments to produce realistic representation of the human figure and clothing.  Employing similar materials and techniques on the nebulae and galaxies as the outer anatomy of consciousness, I suppose I am questioning where the soul exists that is claimed to have been wrestled back from God hundreds of years ago.  Or if you do not perscribe to a god-concept or higher power, I found myself examining where the boundaries of self, other, environment, and forces begin and end in the realm of the real.  These smudges of earth describe what is observable from macrocosmic calamities and possibly higher powers as well.

Alongside the above-mentioned reconfiguration of a traditional painting method in a contemporary context is a far more contemplative research-based practice questioning the dimensionality of singularities.  This other half Imagines the events of black holes as stretched timelines seen from outside spacetime.  They appear connected to the Alpha point or act of creation and are similar to a seed becoming the iconic tree of life symbol.  It is also important to note that the galaxies most likely all have black holes at their centers so the matter and energy of the universe would also exist on thin veils of spacetime like leaves or flowers blooming from the tree of life.  This brings these two ways of seeing full circle.  Both inside and outside of the physical world are portrayed in art.
